Haydock Finance strengthens leadership team with senior appointments

Haydock Finance has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of three directors as the business continues to deliver its strategic growth plans and invest in its long-term future.

The asset finance provider has promoted Andrea O’Brien to Sales Director, Alistair Brew to Finance Director and confirmed Alison Perks as IT & Transformation Director, reinforcing its commercial, financial and operational leadership.

Andrea O’Brien takes on the role of Sales Director after more than 26 years in the asset finance industry, including 24 years with Haydock Finance.

Having played a central role in developing the company’s broker partner network while leading its Broker Sales Division, she will now provide strategic leadership across the sales function. Reporting to Andy Taylor, Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer, she will help drive Haydock’s long-term growth ambitions.

Alistair Brew has been appointed Finance Director following a series of promotions since joining Haydock Finance in February 2021.

Starting as Commercial Finance Analyst, he progressed to Commercial Finance Manager before becoming Head of Financial Planning & Analysis. During that time, he has helped strengthen the company’s financial planning, commercial insight and strategic decision-making.

As Finance Director, Brew will oversee Haydock’s financial strategy and funding operations, supporting the business as it continues to expand its support for SMEs.

He said: “I’m delighted to be appointed Finance Director. Haydock has provided me with incredible opportunities to develop my career, and I look forward to supporting the next stage of the company’s growth alongside such a talented team.”

The business has also confirmed the appointment of Alison Perks as IT & Transformation Director. Perks joined Haydock in 2023 on a consultancy basis to lead business change initiatives and has since overseen a range of transformation projects.

In her new executive role, she will lead the company’s technology strategy and transformation agenda, focusing on operational efficiency and enhancing the service experience for introducers and SME customers.
