FLA's Shanika Amarasekara to present 30 under 30 awards

Shanika Amarasekara, the newly appointed CEO of the Finance & Leasing Association (FLA), will take centre stage at this year’s Asset Finance Connect (AFC) Conference on 25 November at London’s County Hall, where she will present the Leasing Foundation’s 30 under 30 awards, sponsored by Acquis.

Next Gen soapbox: a platform for industry voices of the future

Following the awards, the conference will feature a next gen soapbox session, giving members of the Leasing Foundation’s next gen community the opportunity to share their views on how the sector can better attract, develop and retain young professionals.

This session forms part of an AFC pilot initiative designed to build communication skills and confidence among emerging leaders. Through a supported public-speaking and leadership development programme – run in partnership with Anthea Armar of the Amarkai Group – participants are being trained to speak with impact and authority on the main stage of the AFC UK Conference.
