The Leasing Foundation has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Finance Connect founder and CEO Edward Peck to its board of directors, alongside Neil Temple, head of asset finance product at Lloyds Banking Group.

Edward Peck joins the Foundation as a non-executive director, bringing deep sector knowledge and a long track record in publishing, research and industry engagement.

Through the development of Finance Connect, he has helped shape one of the industry’s most influential communities, connecting lenders, brokers and suppliers across auto, asset, equipment and receivables finance.

His appointment further cements the close collaboration between Finance Connect and the Leasing Foundation, with Peck set to support the organisation’s work on content development, knowledge sharing and community engagement.

Neil Temple joins the board with responsibility for co-leading the Foundation’s Innovation workstream, working alongside Cat Powell.

With a background spanning pricing, commercial performance and strategy since joining Lloyds as a graduate, he brings strong insight into customer needs, product design and the future evolution of business finance.

Ylva Oertengren, chair of the Leasing Foundation, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Ed and Neil to the board.

“Both bring real experience, energy and a clear commitment to moving our industry forward. Not only will their individual strengths add enormous value to the Foundation, but the support of their respective organisations is proof of the industry-wide recognition of the importance of the Foundation’s work.”
