Experienced finance duo launch new brokerage in Nottingham

Forest Road Finance, a new commercial finance brokerage founded by industry professionals Ricky McNeil and Jack Naylor, has officially opened in Nottingham.

The firm focuses on asset finance, property finance, and working capital solutions, supporting businesses across the region and further afield.

The duo were able to fast-track the set-up of the business by joining the Asset Finance Solutions (AFS) network, which supports both new and established brokerages.

“They have a strong reputation for excellence within our industry and their enthusiasm for their business is infectious. The whole AFS team are excited to support them with their new venture.”

Both McNeil and Naylor bring a strong foundation of commercial finance knowledge to Forest Road Finance.

Ricky McNeil holds an MSc in Accounting and Financial Management and a Diploma in Business and Commercial Banking & Conduct, and was recognised in the Leasing Foundation’s 30 Under 30 awards.

Jack Naylor holds a Masters in Business Finance and the CeMap qualification.

Before establishing the new brokerage, the pair spent nearly a decade at a leading nationwide finance broker, where McNeil was Operations Director and Naylor was Sales Director.

Reflecting on the move, McNeil said: “It was a really difficult decision to move on, but the timing felt right for us after nearly a decade of service.”

Naylor added: “We know this will be a huge challenge, but with the support of the AFS network, we’re confident we can succeed. We’re looking forward to helping a wide range of businesses secure the finance they need.”
