Christian Löbke, currently Chief Risk Officer and Managing Director at Volkswagen Bank GmbH, will assume responsibility for risk management on the Board effective October 1, 2025, subject to supervisory authority approval. He succeeds Frank Fiedler, who will step down from his role on September 30, 2025, at his own request and for personal reasons. “Christian Löbke is a proven and highly experienced specialist in risk management,” said Dr. Arno Antlitz, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen Financial Services AG and CFO/COO of Volkswagen AG. I wish him every success in this important role. “At the same time, I would like to thank Frank Fiedler. During his 17 years on the Board, he made significant contributions to the financial strength and stability of Volkswagen Financial Services AG and was instrumental in diversifying our refinancing.” Dr. Christian Dahlheim, CEO of Volkswagen Financial Services AG, added: “Christian Löbke knows our entire financial and mobility group inside out and, with his great expertise, he will be a tremendous asset to the whole Board. “Frank Fiedler has left a lasting mark on Volkswagen Financial Services AG. We thank him for his many years of service – especially for his dedication and strategic foresight. Notably, he has also had a decisive influence on our organizational restructuring and the evolution of our business model.” Löbke has held senior roles in credit risk and portfolio management at HypoVereinsbank AG and UniCredit S.p.A. He joined Volkswagen Financial Services AG in 2010, leading Group-Wide Risk Management before becoming CRO and Managing Director of Volkswagen Bank GmbH in 2017. Frank Fiedler (photo courtesy of VWFS) Fiedler, who joined the Volkswagen Group in 1990, has held numerous leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer at Volkswagen Financial Services AG from 2008 to 2024. In July 2024, he took over responsibility for risk, tax, and legal affairs on the Board. As of October 1, 2025, the Board of Management of Volkswagen Financial Services AG will consist of Dr. Christian Dahlheim (Chairman), Dr. Ingrun-Ulla Bartölke (Finance and Procurement), Dr. Alena Kretzberg (IT and Digital), Christian Löbke (Risk Management), and Anthony Bandmann (Sales and Marketing).
