Europcar Mobility Group UK appoints Gavin Morgan as Commercial Director

Europcar Mobility Group UK has appointed Gavin Morgan as Commercial Director as the vehicle rental and mobility provider looks to accelerate growth and strengthen support for businesses navigating an increasingly complex mobility landscape.

Morgan joins the UK business from Europcar Ireland, where he served as Head of Corporate Sales for more than seven years, succeeding Paul McNeice, who has returned to Ireland to take up the role of Head of Country.

In his new position, Morgan will lead Europcar Mobility Group UK’s commercial teams, focusing on expanding the company’s customer base while helping businesses access flexible mobility solutions that address rising operating costs, changing fleet requirements and the transition to lower-emission transport.

Commenting on his appointment, Morgan said: “Having worked in the Europcar business in Ireland for over seven years, I am tremendously excited to join the UK team. Businesses across the country are facing numerous challenges, from cost pressures to the net zero transition, and Europcar is in a strong position to offer innovative and flexible solutions to help navigate these hurdles.

“My focus is on ensuring our customers – existing and new – understand the strategic support we can provide for their mobility needs.”

During his time in Ireland, Morgan led the corporate sales team to record levels of revenue and customer retention. Before joining Europcar, he spent a decade running his own business, following an earlier career in premium automotive sales.

Christian Øien, Managing Director of Europcar Mobility Group UK and Ireland, said Morgan’s blend of commercial leadership, entrepreneurial experience and deep understanding of customer mobility requirements made him well placed to support the company’s next phase of growth.

“Gavin’s entrepreneurial experience, combined with his knowledge of the Europcar business and the mobility needs of commercial organisations, makes him the ideal leader for our Commercial teams as we focus on new growth and new market opportunities,” he said.
