Auto Finance Sponsored by Auto Finance News CA Auto Bank launches new Austrian and Greek branches Published: 19th December 2025 Share CA Auto Bank has strengthened its European footprint with the launch of new branches in Austria and Greece, following the transformation of its existing local operations into direct branches of the group’s Italian parent company. Effective December 15, CA Auto Bank GmbH has been merged into CA Auto Bank S.p.A. and will now operate as a foreign branch under the name CA Auto Bank S.p.A., Zweigniederlassung Österreich, while retaining its headquarters in Vienna. The change follows the completion of the registration process and the signing of the notarial merger deed in Turin. As a result of the merger, the Greek operation previously operating as a branch of the Austrian entity has also been converted into a direct branch of CA Auto Bank S.p.A. The Greek unit will now operate as CA Auto Bank S.p.A. Hellenic Branch, with its headquarters remaining in Athens. CA Auto Bank said the transformation is part of a broader strategy to streamline its international structure and improve operational efficiency across Europe. By converting subsidiaries into direct branches, the group aims to create a more integrated organisational model and strengthen coordination with its headquarters. The group has previously implemented similar transformations in other European markets, including Ireland, Belgium, Poland, France, Portugal, Spain and Germany. The Austrian and Greek businesses have long operated in vehicle financing and have established a strong presence in their respective markets. Under the new branch structure, they will continue to provide financial services for the mobility sector, manage credit activities in line with banking regulations and support the group’s sales and marketing operations and automotive partners. CA Auto Bank said the move will enable closer alignment between local operations and the group’s central functions, supporting more efficient management and customer service across its European network.
