The partnership will now include wholesale financing for new and inventory vehicles, complementing the existing financing, leasing, and insurance products available to customers and dealers. The new arrangement supports BYD’s growing dealer network in Germany and aims to facilitate the wider adoption of electric mobility. CA Auto Bank, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility, already works with BYD in Italy, France, Spain, and Switzerland. The addition of wholesale financing – already in place in several of these markets – will allow German retail partners to manage their inventories more flexibly. The agreement covers BYD’s full model range, from compact vehicles such as the BYD Dolphin to premium models like the BYD Seal. CA Auto Bank will continue to offer both traditional financing options through BYD Stores and digital solutions for end customers. “Germany is one of the key markets for our expansion in Europe,” said Lars Bialkowski, Country Manager for BYD Germany. “With CA Auto Bank, we can offer our retail partners attractive, customised financing solutions. This creates the basis for making our innovative electric vehicles accessible to a wider customer group even faster and further advancing the transformation to e-mobility in Germany.” Jakob Böhme, Country Manager of CA Auto Bank Germany, said: “We are proud to deepen our successful collaboration with BYD. “With expanded offers – especially in the area of wholesale financing – we are making an important contribution to the expansion of sustainable mobility and supporting BYD’s ambitious growth targets.” Lisa Laverick Editor - Finance Connect Sign up to our newsletter Featured Stories NewsArval Germany and Consors Finanz partner with Changan in Germany NewsStellantis and Cox Automotive Europe partner to boost pre-owned vehicle remarketing NewsEU abandons planned ban on new ICE vehicles, EPP’s Weber says Auto Finance
