Fleet Finance Sponsored by Fleet Finance News Ayvens partners with Plugsurfing to accelerate fleet charging Published: 2nd September 2025 Share Ayvens has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Plugsurfing, a European EV charging platform for businesses, to deliver an integrated fleet charging solution across Europe. The partnership aims to simplify electric vehicle (EV) charging for international, local corporate, and SME clients, offering access to Europe’s largest roaming network of over 1 million public charge points. Under the agreement, Ayvens and Plugsurfing will launch a comprehensive EV charging ecosystem that combines public, home, workplace, and depot charging into one seamless solution. Through a unified app, EV drivers will benefit from frictionless access to charging stations and streamlined payments across multiple locations. Meanwhile, fleet managers will gain access to a centralised fleet portal designed to monitor, manage, and control charging expenses across diverse markets. The solution will also provide comprehensive data insights on energy consumption, cost per network, and mileage tracking, enabling clients to better manage total cost of ownership (TCO) and optimise EV fleet operations – particularly valuable for businesses working with multiple leasing and charging providers. “After a detailed selection process, Plugsurfing was identified as the most relevant among over 20 providers to help us simplify EV charging for our fleet clients,” said Amélie de Valroger, Global Director of Innovation, Products and Consultancy at Ayvens. “This collaboration will enrich our EV offering, making charging easier for drivers and helping fleets run more efficiently across Europe. By offering a seamless charging experience, we address a major obstacle in adopting electric vehicles and reinforce Ayvens’ role in building a strong ecosystem for sustainable mobility.” Plugsurfing, owned by Corpay, currently connects over 2 million EV drivers to a reliable EU+ network of more than 500 charge point operators (CPOs). By combining this extensive charging infrastructure with Ayvens’ expertise in fleet management and its position as the #1 multi-brand EV fleet operator globally – managing more than 600,000 EVs worldwide – the partnership seeks to deliver a best-in-class charging experience for corporate and SME clients. “This partnership highlights the power of Plugsurfing’s platform to deliver fleet solutions that scale,” added Tom Rowlands, Managing Director of Global EV Solutions at Corpay. “At the heart of our offer is the fleet portal, which gives businesses the tools to manage cards, track spend, and gain actionable insights across public, home, and workplace charging. Combined with Ayvens’ expertise, we are simplifying operations and creating a seamless charging experience for drivers everywhere.” The phased rollout of the integrated solution will begin in the coming months, starting with Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. Subsequent expansion across Europe is planned, as Ayvens and Plugsurfing adapt the service to meet evolving client needs and leverage technological advancements in EV infrastructure.
