Alfa launches RouteOne partnership for US auto finance

Alfa has announced a new partnership with RouteOne, unveiling a dedicated RouteOne add-on for the Alfa Systems technology platform aimed at strengthening auto finance originations across the United States.

The new add-on provides US auto lenders with a pre-built, accredited connection to their dealer networks, enabling straight-through processing for indirect lending. By integrating RouteOne directly into Alfa Systems, lenders can manage the full originations lifecycle – from initial application entry through underwriting approval and funding – within a single, centralised platform.

Through the integration, dealers are able to submit credit applications via RouteOne and receive automated responses from finance companies in near real-time. The add-on also includes pre-built data mappings, ensuring all required data points are captured accurately and made available to Alfa Systems’ Business Rules Engine, reducing the need for manual checks and rekeying.

Emily Hammond, Director of Product at Alfa Systems, said the new capability is designed to remove long-standing inefficiencies in indirect auto lending.

“The RouteOne add-on is designed to remove the friction often found in indirect lending,” Hammond said. “By reducing the need for manual data verification and providing a consolidated view of the originations journey, our customers can achieve significant operational savings and focus their time on more valuable transactions. With the addition of Deal Refresh and built-in messaging, US finance providers can now compete more effectively and at scale, providing rapid responses to their dealer networks.”

Following successful accreditation for both Credit Application and Deal Refresh functionality, Alfa Systems is now listed among RouteOne’s approved partners in the RouteOne Connection Hub. The announcement builds on Alfa’s broader expansion in the originations space, with its enhanced originations functionality having launched in 2024.

The partnership aligns with Alfa’s wider focus on strengthening risk management and data strategy in auto finance. These themes are explored further in Hammond’s recent insights piece, Auto finance’s first line of defence: Raising the standard in integrated software partnerships and data strategy, which examines why effective fraud prevention begins well before a loan is funded.
