Relationship Managers (3 possibly 4) – Construction & Recycling Asset Finance – 3001

Salary range £70,000 to £85,000 depending on experience and level of hire , on target earnings up to 55% of salary with potential to earn up to 500% of salary in bonus. Plus company car & excellent benefits.

Our client a leading asset financier for whom we have sourced over 50 staff in the UK , Ireland & Germany are seeking to strategically strengthen their presence in the construction & recycling asset finance sector by hiring 3 or possibly 4 additional Relationship Managers and a Senior Relationship Manager to develop new business across the following sales areas:

• North East England
• Birmingham & surrounding area
• Luton and south into North London
• M4 corridor west to Bristol and encompassing Oxford area

The role is one of developing construction and recycling asset finance business primarily from introducer partners, such as OEM’s, dealers etc plus direct customers (those who have a network of construction & recycling sector contacts & customers are of particular interest) plus tactically some specialist lease brokers who focus solely on the construction and recycling sectors.

Typically targets are £1m a year of margin but for new starters these are phased at 25% of normal target for quarter 1, 50% quarter 2, 75% quarter 3 and the normal target for quarter 4 in role. This phasing reflects the new business focus of the role.

Candidate Profile

To apply you must have not only asset finance sector external sales experience but good experience of financing of construction and recycling assets.

If you have experience of all of our clients routes to market this would be ideal , but applications from those with asset class experience who are located on the relevant sales areas who possess any at least direct to market experience will be actively considered.

You will have a demonstrable record of your success in the sector and be someone who is willing to to discuss your success and ideally be willing to share (visually only) any proof of your success. Think things like P60’s, commendations, awards etc what have you got that underlines your success and reinforces your potential value?

You will have a focussed, hungry, driven mentality where you see achieving your on target earnings as your minimum personal performance and have a strong personal desire to significantly out earn your on target earnings.

Our clients pay plan allows you to earn up to 500% of your salary, so there is no shortage of reward for over performance.

You will possess not only all the above but also broad knowledge of all main stream asset finance products and have good enough credit skills to know what a viable deal looks like and how to shape one to make it viable.

You will also possess the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal colleagues across credit, sales support, asset management, collections etc.
