Lendscape has appointed Pat Hinchin as Chief Operating Officer (COO), strengthening its executive leadership team as the commercial finance technology provider continues its global expansion.

Hinchin brings more than 25 years of experience across the fintech and regtech sectors, with expertise spanning risk, regulatory and compliance technology, as well as the transformation of enterprise software into scalable, API-driven SaaS platforms.

He joins Lendscape from Featurespace, where he most recently served as Chief Product and Technology Officer. Prior to that, he held senior leadership positions at LexisNexis Risk and Thomson Reuters. In his new role, Hinchin will oversee Lendscape’s operations and delivery functions.

Brett Promisel, Chief Executive Officer at Lendscape, said: “Commercial lending is becoming more automated and AI-enabled, and our platform and long-standing partnerships with the world’s leading banks and lenders put us in a strong position to lead that shift. Pat brings deep fintech experience and a track record of scaling software businesses, and his experience will strengthen our operational foundation as we grow.”

Hinchin said he was attracted by both Lendscape’s market position and its ambitions for the future.

“What drew me to Lendscape are the solutions, the people, and the trust it has earned with leading lenders in the market,” he said. “As lending becomes more automated and intelligent, winning will come down to execution – delivering at scale, at speed, and with the reliability they depend on. That’s where I intend to focus, alongside a talented team, as the business grows.”

The appointment follows a period of expansion for Lendscape. In 2025, the company acquired North American factoring software provider WinFactor, strengthening its presence in the region and broadening its capabilities. The acquisition also saw Matthew Kanagy and Patrick de la Roza join the business, with the pair subsequently appointed Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Revenue Officer respectively.
