WeDo Business Services moves to larger headquarters to support growth plans

WeDo Business Services has relocated to a new headquarters at Annie Kenney Mill in Chadderton, Oldham, as it prepares for the next phase of its expansion.

The move sees the SME support firm take up nearly 7,000 sq ft of office space — double the size of its previous base at Meadowbank House. The new offices, located just a short distance from the former site, occupy the entire first floor of the newly developed Annie Kenney Mill, part of The Mills Hollinwood business park.

WeDo, which was founded in 2019 by Mark Lindsay and Chris Robinson with four staff, now employs over 70 people across its network.

The company provides a range of services including invoice finance, asset finance, loans, accountancy, HR, and IT support to SMEs across the UK.

The new premises offer expanded facilities including additional meeting rooms, a media room, and breakout areas, allowing room for further workforce growth. The building features modern environmental standards including solar panels, EV charging points, and energy-efficient systems.

WeDo’s move follows a period of sustained growth, including the launch of an asset finance division and securing £50 million in funding from Waterfall Asset Management in 2024. The company aims to double its total lending to £100 million within the next three years.

The office relocation keeps the firm within Oldham, reflecting its commitment to the local area and its workforce, many of whom live nearby.
