Advisory firm The Alta Group has announced a strategic affiliation with equipment finance expert Cam Krueger.

Krueger will join Alta as a director and key member of its operational enablement and technology team, where he will provide strategic guidance and competitive alignment services to clients across the equipment finance sector.

Alta Co-CEO Valerie L. Gerard welcomed the appointment, highlighting Krueger’s deep industry experience and practical leadership background. “We are delighted Cam is working alongside our trusted team of global equipment finance advisors,” she said. “He is known for his hands-on work as a senior executive, helping equipment finance companies optimise operations, select and implement the right technology, and navigate the complexities of digital transformation.”

Krueger brings decades of experience advising and leading transformation initiatives within the industry. Over the course of his career, he has implemented all major technology platforms used in equipment finance and has supported many of the sector’s leading companies in improving performance and efficiency.

Before affiliating with Alta, Krueger built specialty finance practices at three global consulting firms. He served as vice president at Capgemini, managing director at Deloitte, and later as managing director at Accenture. In these roles, he led large-scale transformation programmes, contributed to significant revenue growth, and helped establish operational centres of excellence.

He is also credited with developing the industry’s first comprehensive technology benchmarking tool, widely regarded as a key innovation in evaluating performance and systems across equipment finance organisations.

Krueger’s contributions to the sector have been formally recognised by the Equipment Leasing & Finance Association (ELFA), which awarded him its Distinguished Service Award. He has held numerous leadership roles within the association, including serving as chair of the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation, a member of the ELFA board of directors, and chair of its operations and technology committee.
