The project, led by STH Consulting, went far beyond a typical automotive-focused review. It encompassed the entire asset portfolio, standardising data across diverse categories and calculating emissions for both fossil-fuelled and electric assets. The result is a structured, transparent dataset that allows for more accurate emissions tracking and informed ESG reporting. Despite facing complex challenges related to inconsistent and incomplete data, STH Consulting developed a refined data model that standardised hundreds of manufacturer names and categorised thousands of asset models with precision. This enabled reliable CO₂ emissions calculations and greatly improved the portfolio’s transparency and analytical usability. “We were happy with the performance, the attitude, and the flexibility of STH Consulting,” said Roland Maslo, Head of Corporate Control & ESG at Raiffeisen Leasing. “They brought their technology to the table, but were also open to building individual solutions for us.” The partnership reflects a growing emphasis within the financial and leasing sectors on understanding and reducing carbon footprints through better data. “We’re grateful for the trust from Raiffeisen Leasing and for the opportunity to work on such a meaningful and insightful project,” said Petr Thiel, founder of STH Consulting. “It’s exactly the kind of challenge that lets us leverage our tech while tailoring results to real customer needs.” Lisa Laverick Editor - Finance Connect Sign up to our newsletter Featured Stories NewsDLL explores managed services transition NewsELFA confidence index rebounds in May as equipment finance outlook improves News87% of European firms say equipment ownership is constraining growth Equipment Finance
