The programme, set to launch in the coming weeks, will integrate Propel’s embedded finance platform with LiftForward Inc., Apple’s selected platform partner for channel subscription and upgrade programmes. Through Select’s online platform, retail network, and dedicated small business team, SMBs will be able to access flexible finance options seamlessly at the point of sale, both in-store and online. The new offering allows small businesses purchasing Mac, iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch and related accessories to spread the cost via a monthly payment model over 12 to 48 months, with no upfront fees. Customers will benefit from a fully digital and intuitive financing experience, including real-time application decisions and the ability to finance multiple products within a single basket. The programme also includes device upgrades, end-of-term trade-ins, and certified recycling options, supporting broader sustainability goals while helping businesses manage their technology lifecycles more effectively. Mark Catton, CEO at Propel Finance, said: “We are delighted to work with Apple’s channel partners in offering embedded finance propositions to their SMB customers. “We are hoping to enable hundreds of thousands of UK businesses to access finance to invest in Apple technology, giving them the power to do their best work. We are looking forward to launching with Select as the first partner over the coming weeks.” As part of the collaboration, Select will manage device configuration, distribution, and support, leveraging its nationwide retail footprint – with stores spanning from Truro to Scotland – and its Apple-accredited expertise to deliver a comprehensive, tailored service to businesses across the UK. Andy Synnott, Marketing and eCommerce Director at Select, added: “This partnership unlocks opportunities for UK businesses to access the Apple technology they need to grow. “By combining flexible finance with lifecycle and sustainability services, we’re offering a smarter, more efficient way for businesses to invest in digital capability.” The full proposition will soon be available through Select’s online platform, retail locations, and its small business team.
