Fleet Finance Sponsored by Fleet Finance News Law Distribution adds nine DAF trucks in Asset Alliance deal Published: 8th October 2026 Share Law Distribution has added nine new DAF XB 260 rigids to its commercial vehicle fleet through a five-year contract hire agreement with Asset Alliance Group. The 18-tonne vehicles, supplied with full repair and maintenance, replace older trucks in the haulage company’s fleet and will be used for regional deliveries from its Haydock base. Law Distribution selected the DAF XB 260s to provide a balance between capacity and manoeuvrability for multi-drop operations covering both residential and commercial locations. The curtain-sided trucks are fitted with cantilever tail lifts and dual toolboxes, as well as body-mounted solar panels. The panels continuously charge the vehicle batteries, helping to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions while limiting wear on the alternator and battery. Asset Alliance Group are a great supplier and a great partner – they really know and understand our business. “So, when it came to designing and spec’ing the vehicles for our drivers and the multi-drop work that they do, Richard Worthington and the team at Asset Alliance Group were brilliant: very knowledgeable and supportive throughout.” Asset Alliance Group also supported the development of a new vehicle wrap for the trucks, which retains Law Distribution’s blue, white and red colours with an updated design. Carus added: “Asset Alliance Group were key in helping us deliver the new wrap. It’s been a great service, and they helped us throughout to shape something very smart that we can be proud of.” Founded in 1994, family-owned Law Distribution provides distribution, warehousing and contract logistics services and is a member of Palletline.
