Finance Connect Summer Awards 2026 set to be the biggest yet, with attendance approaching 700

The Finance Connect Summer Awards 2026, headline sponsored by NETSOL Technologies, is on track to be the largest in the event’s history, with attendance numbers approaching 700 – nearly 20% up on last year.

The rise in attendance follows a record year for nominations, with more than 200 received across 22 categories, the highest number and quality the awards have seen. It also reflects the continued growth of the receivables finance community, which joins the awards programme for the first time this year following the launch of Receivables Finance Connect.

This growing sense of pride and momentum is reflected in this year’s theme, The Spark, which celebrates the connections, ideas and momentum that drive the industry forward. Finance Connect was founded on the belief that bringing the right people together creates opportunity – and the growth in both nominations and attendance is a clear sign that belief continues to resonate across the market.

In keeping with the evening’s theme, guests are encouraged to embrace the event’s Bright & Bold dress code, leaving the traditional black tie at home in favour of vibrant colours and statement outfits that capture the energy and optimism of the industry.

Guests will begin the evening with a Sparkling Wine and Pimm’s reception in the beautiful summer gardens at City Central, one of London’s most distinctive event venues, located within the historic grounds of the Honourable Artillery Company.

The celebrations will also feature a summer funfair, with guests able to ride the Big Wheel, challenge colleagues on the Dodgems, sponsored by NETSOL Technologies, enjoy the Carousel and try their luck on the traditional side stalls.

Those feeling competitive can also test themselves on the Try Your Strength game, also sponsored by NETSOL Technologies, for the chance to win a range of fantastic prizes.

Adding another touch of entertainment to the evening, close-up magician Saavan Thethy will perform throughout the reception and dinner, with his mind-bending illusions and interactive sleight of hand sponsored by FIS.

Following the presentation of the awards, the celebrations will continue with an after-party featuring a DJ, dancefloor and bar open until midnight, ensuring the Finance Connect Summer Awards 2026 is not only a celebration of excellence, but one of the most memorable evenings in the specialist finance calendar.
