Finance Connect Equipment Finance Podcast: a year in review

The New Year episode of the Finance Connect European Equipment Finance Podcast, sponsored by Alfa, marks the conclusion of the series’ first year with a role reversal.

Regular host Richard O’Donohue steps into the guest seat, interviewed by John Rees, Finance Connect’s Equipment Finance Community Leader, to reflect on how the podcast has developed over 2025.

The conversation looks back at how the podcast began and how it has grown into a platform bringing together a wide range of voices from across the European asset and equipment finance industry. Over the past year, the series has delivered 18 full-length episodes, alongside special compilations recorded around Finance Connect events.

Key themes discussed throughout the year included artificial intelligence, sustainability and the circular economy, partnerships, geographic expansion, customer experience and evolving business models. Together, these topics reflect many of the challenges and opportunities currently shaping the industry.

The episode also looks ahead to 2026, with further podcast editions planned around the Finance Connect European Leaders’ Summit in Cologne in March 2026.
