CSI Leasing announces officer promotions

Global equipment leasing specialist CSI Leasing has announced a series of officer promotions as part of its annual Kickoff event, with the company reinforcing its focus on innovation and long-term growth under the theme “Driving the Future”.

The promotions span credit, finance, accounting, tax, lease administration and information technology functions across CSI’s global operations, reflecting the company’s continued investment in leadership as it expands its international equipment leasing and lifecycle services platform.

Among the senior appointments, Matt Kersting has been promoted to senior vice president and deputy chief credit officer. Previously vice president, Kersting oversees CSI’s US credit operations, including multinational customers, and has been with the business for 17 years.

Sebastian Pelaez has been promoted to senior vice president, transaction finance at CSI Latina Financial.

Formerly vice president of syndications, he is responsible for funding and syndications across CSI’s Latin American subsidiaries and has spent 20 years with the company.

CSI also promoted Carolyn Berry to vice president, lease administration. Berry, who joined the company 28 years ago, manages the US lease administration team responsible for overseeing lease documentation processes and customer experience.

Ted Bushur was named vice president – head of tax, overseeing federal, state and international income tax compliance as well as tax planning initiatives.

Bushur previously worked at CSI between 2000 and 2010 before returning earlier this year.

In information technology, Zulay Calero and Steve Genazzi were both promoted to vice president roles. Calero manages CSI’s IT infrastructure and Latin American technology resources, while Genazzi serves as a global administrator for internal enterprise software platforms including LeaseWave, Dynamics GP, M-Files and DocuSign.

Additional vice president promotions include Dennis Horan to vice president, portfolio management, and Michelle Keen to vice president, international accounting.

CSI also announced a number of assistant vice president promotions. Neglady Aguilar was promoted to assistant vice president, administration at CSI Latina Financial; Cassie Halfmann to assistant vice president, international accounting; Katie Schmitz to assistant vice president, accounting; and Dale Stafford to assistant vice president, federal and state income tax.
