Celebrating the 2024 trailblazers

Last year, the AFC Excellence in Technology Award 2024 was awarded jointly to three outstanding individuals whose work exemplified the power of technology to reshape business.

Astrid Michael and Louise McIntosh from United Trust Bank received accolades for their leadership of a transformative two-year project that delivered a competitive, future-proof platform.

Their vision and execution showcased how strategic investment in technology can deliver agility and long-term value.

Chris Kirby, CEO of Tomorrow’s Journey, also earned the award for the company’s innovative Vehicle-as-a-Service platform, JRNY. In Kirby’s words: “Winning the AFC Excellence in Technology Award 2024 is an honour for both me and Tomorrow’s Journey. It validates our relentless efforts in driving innovation and excellence in the automotive industry… This recognition inspires us to continue pushing boundaries and delivering value to our clients and partners.”
