Arbuthnot Commercial ABL supports Emerge Global

Arbuthnot Commercial Asset Based Lending (ABL) has once again partnered with fast-growing logistics group Emerge Global, supporting its latest strategic investment in AMG Forwarding Ltd, a Birmingham-based warehouse and fulfilment specialist.

The facility – a revolving funding line -brings Emerge’s total funding package with Arbuthnot Commercial ABLto £10.1 million, providing the group with enhanced flexible working capital to support its ambitious growth trajectory. This marks the fifth strategic investment backed by Arbuthnot Commercial ABLsince autumn 2021, following previous deals involving Berser International Cargo Services, BritAm Shipping, Speed Welshpool, and Seaspace International Forwarders.

Founded in 2003, AMG Forwarding is an independent logistics provider with a 95,000 sq ft warehousing facility, offering global fulfilment and warehousing solutions to clients across sectors including retail, wholesale, and manufacturing. Among its high-profile projects are inventory management for major fashion brands, international logistics contracts for oil and gas companies, and specialist fulfilment operations for banking and aviation clients.

The acquisition of AMG significantly strengthens Emerge’s operational capabilities and reinforces its status as a leader in full-service third-party logistics. With this latest addition, the Group’s annual turnover now exceeds £75 million.
