Approved Finance Group arranges £460,000 loan for scaffolding firm

Approved Finance Group has arranged a £460,000 unsecured business loan for a scaffolding company, supporting a business operating in the construction sector.

The transaction was led by Tom Sudds, Director at Approved Finance Group, following an assessment of the client’s funding requirements.

Scaffolding businesses face significant upfront operating costs, including labour, equipment, transport and insurance, while varying payment schedules across construction contracts can create additional pressure on cashflow.

Access to business finance can help companies manage these costs and maintain working capital while awaiting payments from customers.

The £460,000 facility was arranged on an unsecured basis, meaning the loan does not require a specific business asset or property to be pledged as security. However, unsecured lending may still be subject to personal guarantees and other lender requirements.

Sudds was supported throughout the transaction by a team comprising Paula Scobin, Executive Assistant; Alexis Guyler, Client Relationship Manager; and Leyla Whyte, Credit Administrator.

The team worked across client communications, administration and credit support to progress the application through to completion.
