Peace took up the role on 3 August, moving from his position as regional development manager at Alphabet, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining broker relationships, identifying new and existing sales opportunities and growing the profile and volumes of his region. In his new position, Peace will draw on his knowledge of the evolving broker market, including the transition towards greater vehicle electrification and the increasing importance of total cost of ownership in fleet and mobility decisions. As the company looks to strengthen relationships with OEM and dealer partners and support further growth across its tactical channel, Peace will also focus on developing new partnerships and strengthening existing business relationships, while supporting the wider BMW Group strategy to deliver sustainable growth. Peace joined BMW Group in January 2022 and has since developed experience spanning sales operations and tactical implementation. Alphabet said he also brings a strong understanding of the factors influencing customer experience, alongside experience using social media outreach to maximise engagement across both indirect and direct customer channels. Commenting on his appointment, Peace said: “I’m delighted to move into a tactical sales role, as it will enable me to expand on the strong foundations already built while operating as a regional development manager. “My primary focus will be to cultivate new partnerships, while enhancing existing relationships to position the tactical channel as a trusted, strategic supplier across all Alphabet business channels.” Alison Simmons, Head of Specialist Sales at Alphabet (GB), added: “Harry has an innate ability to translate opportunities into tangible results. This, coupled with his existing network and trusted broker partnerships, positions him exceptionally well to both align and upscale Alphabet’s strategic and tactical sales activities for the purpose of delivering the best outcome for customers.” Lisa Laverick Editor - Finance Connect Sign up to our newsletter Featured Stories AppointmentsAsset Advantage strengthens sales and credit operations AppointmentsLTi appoints Jen Martin Chief Strategy Officer AppointmentseCapital UK appoints John Nelson as UK managing director
