The AFPA Trust’s annual Summer Networking & Charity Event, held on August 7th at London’s prestigious Home House Members Club, has raised £10,000 for St. Michael’s Hospice.

Bringing together leading figures from the asset finance and leasing sector, the event combined professional networking with charitable fundraising, directly supporting the hospice’s work in providing vital palliative care and support to patients and their families.

Sarah Shearman, Head of Fundraising at St. Michael’s Hospice, expressed her gratitude:
“We are so grateful for the incredible generosity of the AFPA Trust and everyone who attended their annual event. This significant donation will help us continue to provide essential care and support to those facing a life-limiting illness in our community.”

The fundraising success was made possible through the support of sponsors, including:

  • Platinum Charity Partners and Sponsors: Paragon, LTI Technology Solutions and Propel Finance
  • Gold Charity Partners: NETSOL Technologies, Novuna Business Finance and Grenke
  • Silver Charity Partners: Haydock Finance, Acquis and VIP Apps Consulting
  • Bronze Charity Partners: Invigors, Compass Business Finance and Woodhurst

Robert Taylor, AFPA Trust Chair, said: “Absolutely delighted that AFPA Trust members, our Charity Partners and event Sponsors have been able to support St. Michael’s Hospice with £10,000 towards supporting their patients and families. Year to date, AFPA has supported 17 charities with over £45,000 of donations – thank you to all that have contributed and attended our events.”

Deputy Chair Aysha Ellis-Aziz added: “It’s truly inspiring to see the asset finance and leasing community come together again to support such a deserving cause. We’re thrilled with the outcome and already looking forward to our next flagship event in December!”

Guests also took part in a raffle and auction, with prizes donated by CGI, NETSOL Technologies, Odessa, Propel Finance, Cordoba Rewards, VitrX and LTI Technology Solutions, boosting the total funds raised.
