The partnership will give eligible customers access to discounted home charger installation packages through a dedicated, co-branded digital journey, integrating home charging support into the vehicle leasing process. The arrangement aims to simplify the transition to electric vehicles by providing drivers with guidance on charger selection, installation requirements and ongoing technical support. Customers will complete a remote home survey to determine their charging requirements, with VCHRGD managing the process from initial enquiry through to installation and aftercare. Fraser Koefman, Commercial Director at VCHRGD, said: “For someone choosing their first electric car through lease or salary sacrifice, home charging is often one of the first practical questions. “They want to know which charger to choose, how installation works and who will help them if they need support. “Our partnership with Carwow Leasey brings those elements together through a straightforward customer journey. We want drivers to feel confident about charging at home, with dependable technology and people they can speak to before, during and after installation.” VCHRGD’s home charging technology includes app-based controls, smart tariff integration and solar charging compatibility for suitable properties. Drivers can monitor and schedule charging through the company’s app, while a UK-based support team provides ongoing technical assistance. The partnership is also designed to support employers and salary sacrifice providers by addressing practical concerns that can influence employees’ decisions to switch to electric vehicles. Alex Powel, Leasing Director at Carwow Leasey, said: “Choosing an electric car should come with clear, practical support for using it. “Home charging is a significant part of that experience for customers who have suitable parking, and we want to make arranging it as straightforward and affordable as possible. “Working with VCHRGD gives all our customers, from salary sacrifice to personal and business lease, access to a dedicated charging offer, with a clear installation process and ongoing support.” Eligible Carwow Leasey customers will receive private access links to explore the charging packages and begin the installation process. Founded in 2021, UK-based VCHRGD works with automotive, fleet and energy sector partners to provide EV charging technology and installation services.
