ALL Capital has provided a £6 million asset-based lending facility to Braincare Ltd, the company behind health and wellness brand Heights.

The facility will provide additional liquidity and flexibility as Braincare continues to invest in customer acquisition, product development and future expansion.

Founded by entrepreneurs Dan Murray-Serter and Joel Freeman, Heights is a science-led health and wellness business focused on brain, gut and long-term health.

The company develops nutritional supplements backed by scientific research and independent testing, with its product portfolio spanning cognitive performance, gut health, sleep, hydration and healthy ageing.

Heights has built its customer base through a combination of product development, educational content and a direct-to-consumer model.

Joel Freeman, Director at Braincare, said: “We have ambitious plans for Braincare and wanted a funding partner that understood both the strength of the business we have built and the opportunity ahead of us.

“The facility from ALL Capital gives us the flexibility to continue investing in growth, from reaching new customers to developing our product range, while maintaining our focus on delivering high-quality, science-led products. We’re excited to have ALL Capital supporting us as we enter this next phase.”

ALL Capital typically provides facilities of between £5 million and £20 million to mid-market and growing businesses across the UK and Europe.

Its facilities can be secured against assets including receivables, inventory, property and machinery, alongside term loans designed to provide additional funding beyond traditional asset-based lending structures.

The lender provides funding to support a range of strategic objectives, including business expansion, acquisitions and turnaround strategies.

Mike Bryon, Director at ALL Capital, said: “Braincare is an impressive business operating in a growing market, with a strong brand, highly engaged customer base and a clear commitment to product quality and scientific credibility.

“Joel and Dan and the wider team have built an excellent platform for further growth, and we are pleased to provide a flexible funding solution that gives them the additional headroom to pursue their ambitions. We look forward to working with the team and supporting the business as it continues to scale.”

Crowell & Moring, European Valuations and Audit ID supported the transaction, while Addleshaw Goddard and Key Finance advised Heights.
