Arbuthnot Commercial ABL provides growth funding for Celltech

Share

Arbuthnot Commercial Asset Based Lending (ACABL) has provided a bespoke funding package to telecommunications infrastructure services provider Celltech Communications to support its next phase of growth.

The package combines a Confidential Invoice Discounting facility with a Revolving Credit Facility (RCF), providing Celltech with additional working capital as it expands and pursues opportunities in the UK telecommunications infrastructure market.

Celltech provides specialist rigging, electrical, logistics and surveying services supporting the installation, upgrade, maintenance and decommissioning of mobile telecommunications towers.

The business received significant investment from private equity firm Key Capital Partners in December 2025, with the backing intended to help its founders accelerate Celltech’s growth.

The latest funding package is designed to provide greater flexibility as the company looks to capitalise on increasing demand for 5G infrastructure across the UK.

David Cameron, Investment Manager at Key Capital Partners, said: “We’re pleased to be working with Arbuthnot Commercial ABL to put these facilities in place and support the business as it continues to scale.

“Celltech has grown rapidly since its inception and, with the appropriate funding package in place, is now even better positioned to benefit from the increasing demand for 5G infrastructure across the UK.

“Arbuthnot adopted a pragmatic, commercial approach throughout the process and demonstrated a clear understanding of the business and its growth trajectory. This funding provides greater confidence and flexibility as Celltech moves into its next phase of growth.”

The combination of invoice discounting and revolving credit provides Celltech with access to working capital intended to support the execution of its growth strategy.

Richard Ackers, Director, Business Development (North East) at Arbuthnot Commercial Asset Based Lending, said:

“We were delighted to work closely with Key Capital Partners to deliver a flexible funding solution that aligns with Celltech’s ambitions.

“The combination of facilities provides the working capital required to help the business execute its strategy and capitalise on opportunities within the UK telecoms infrastructure services market.”
