Finclusion and haboo money partner to bring flexible repayments to motor finance

UK motor finance lender Finclusion has partnered with haboo money to introduce a more flexible digital repayment experience for customers underserved by mainstream credit.

The partnership will allow Finclusion customers to align repayments more closely with their income patterns, including making payments weekly, fortnightly or in smaller amounts throughout the month rather than relying solely on a fixed monthly repayment date.

Finclusion will continue to receive the full contractual amount on schedule, while customers will have greater flexibility over how they reach that amount.

The companies said the approach is particularly relevant to motor finance customers who are self-employed, receive irregular income or earn from multiple sources.

The digital, self-service model is also designed to encourage earlier engagement when customers encounter financial difficulties, giving Finclusion greater visibility of emerging problems and an opportunity to provide support before payments are missed.

Chris Bosworth, CEO of Finclusion, said: “At Finclusion, inclusion is not just about helping more people access motor finance. It is about supporting them properly throughout the life of the agreement.

“A fixed monthly repayment date does not reflect the reality of how many people are paid or manage their money today. Our partnership with haboo money gives customers greater flexibility and control, while allowing us to identify potential difficulties earlier and provide the right support.”

Hannah Baynham, co-founder and CEO of haboo money, added: “Motor finance customers are some of the most poorly served by the way repayments work today.

“They are often paid irregularly, they are managing a large and essential commitment, and the only option available to them is a fixed monthly date that may bear no relation to when money actually arrives. We built haboo to close that gap.”

Finclusion, which launched in 2025, specialises in vehicle finance for customers often overlooked by mainstream lenders, using technology, Open Banking and affordability data to support its lending decisions.
