Under the new partnership, Novuna will provide a comprehensive fleet management solution covering 254 legacy assets, comprising 15 company cars and 239 light commercial vehicles. The agreement includes full fleet management services and access to daily rental vehicles, helping BELFOR UK improve operational resilience, reduce downtime and better control fleet costs. BELFOR UK, which has more than 35 years’ experience in property restoration and disaster recovery, supports businesses and homeowners following incidents such as fires, floods and storms. Its fleet plays a critical role in enabling restoration teams to respond rapidly across the UK. As part of the agreement, 84 vehicles are scheduled to be replaced during 2026, creating a more modern and efficient fleet to support the company’s nationwide operations. The new vehicles have been converted specifically for BELFOR UK’s restoration and reinstatement work in partnership with City West, Maxus Technical and Modul Systems. Designed as mobile response units, they are equipped to transport specialist drying, water extraction, air filtration, cleaning and contamination removal equipment, enabling technicians to begin restoration work immediately upon arrival at affected sites. To support the transition, Novuna is also introducing a dedicated engagement programme for its operational teams. A fleet engagement day at its Trowbridge site will give employees the opportunity to inspect the newly converted vehicles and gain a better understanding of BELFOR UK’s operational requirements, helping to strengthen support throughout the life of the contract. BELFOR UK selected Novuna following a review of its operational capabilities, customer service and fleet expertise. Jon Lawes, Managing Director of Novuna Vehicle Solutions, said: “BELFOR UK operates a highly important, operationally critical fleet, supporting customers at some of the most challenging moments they may face. “Our role is to ensure their drivers and stakeholders receive the right support, the right vehicles and the right expertise to keep their operations moving. “This partnership is a true example of how we bring together operational excellence, customer focus and practical fleet expertise. The Trowbridge engagement day is an important part of that approach, giving our teams the opportunity to see the vehicles first-hand, understand BELFOR UK’s operational needs and ensure we are fully prepared to deliver an outstanding in-life experience.” Neil Martin, Head of Fleet at BELFOR UK, added: “Our fleet is essential to the work we do every day, helping us reach customers across the UK when they need us most. We appointed Novuna for their operational expertise, culture, and clear commitment to understanding our business. “The transition gives us confidence that our drivers and operational teams will have the vehicle availability, cost control, and service quality needed to keep our services running efficiently as we modernise our fleet and continue to deliver fast, reliable restoration services for our customers.” The partnership supports BELFOR UK’s long-term fleet strategy, with the aim of improving vehicle reliability, enhancing operational efficiency and providing a platform for continued growth while ensuring restoration teams remain equipped to respond quickly to customers across the UK.
