Mobility and fleet management group Ayvens has announced that John Saffrett has resigned from his role as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, effective 5 February 2026, to pursue opportunities outside the Group.

The decision was acknowledged by Ayvens’ Board of Directors at its meeting on 5 February 2026. Philippe de Rovira, who took over as Chief Executive Officer of Ayvens in December 2025, paid tribute to Saffrett’s contribution to the company’s development.

“Together with Ayvens’ Board of Directors, I would like to thank John for his strong contribution to the successful development of the Group over the last years in the consecutive positions he has held at Ayvens,” de Rovira said in a statement.

At the same time, Ayvens announced the appointment of Patrick Sommelet as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Sommelet will retain his current role as Group Chief Financial Officer alongside his new responsibilities.

De Rovira said Sommelet’s appointment would support continuity in the Group’s leadership as it continues to execute its strategic roadmap.

The management changes come as Ayvens continues to integrate operations and deliver on its strategic and financial objectives, following a year of strong financial performance in 2025.
