AerCap completes 204 leasing, purchase and sale transactions in Q3 2026

AerCap Holdings has reported 204 leasing, purchase and sale transactions during the third quarter of 2026, alongside approximately $900 million in financing transactions.

The Dublin-headquartered aviation leasing group signed 85 lease agreements during the three months to September, covering 16 widebody aircraft, 45 narrowbody aircraft, 13 engines and 11 helicopters.

AerCap also completed 34 asset purchases, comprising 32 aircraft and two helicopters.

Aircraft acquisitions included eight Airbus A320neo family aircraft, 20 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, two Boeing 787-9s and two Embraer E195-E2s, all added to the company’s owned portfolio.

During the quarter, AerCap completed 85 sale transactions involving 65 aircraft, 13 engines and seven helicopters.

Aircraft sales included 15 Airbus A320 family aircraft, four A320neo family aircraft, three Airbus A330s, three Airbus A350s, seven Boeing 737NGs and two Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

The company also sold nine Boeing 767 freighters, two Boeing 777-200ERs, one Airbus A321 freighter and six Embraer aircraft from its owned portfolio, alongside 13 aircraft from its managed portfolio.

Engine disposals comprised 11 engines from AerCap’s owned portfolio and two from its managed portfolio.

In addition to its leasing and asset trading activity, AerCap signed financing transactions worth approximately $900 million during the quarter.
