Crediflow AI launches Flow Credit Memo to streamline underwriting

Share

Crediflow AI has launched Flow Credit Memo, a new product designed to automate the preparation of commercial credit papers using lenders’ existing institutional templates.

The Manchester-based fintech company said the tool brings together financial analysis, borrower documentation, tables and charts into a formatted credit memo, reducing the manual work involved in preparing documents for credit committees.

Commercial lending teams typically spend considerable time transferring financial information between systems, preparing supporting tables and ensuring credit papers meet internal formatting and approval requirements.

Flow Credit Memo allows lenders to upload their existing Word templates, which the system then uses to structure and format the document, including section layouts, branding and approval blocks.

The product draws on financial spreads, bank statement analysis, borrower risks, disclosures and financial ratios held within Crediflow AI’s borrower workspace to generate draft analytical sections and supporting financial information.

Drey Kenfack, Founder and CEO of Crediflow AI, said:

“Credit teams don’t just need a credit review or financial analysis of the borrower. They need a paper that follows their institution’s requirements, with the analysis, supporting figures and evidence in the right places.

“Too much analyst time goes into assembling that document. Flow Credit Memo brings the information into the lender’s own template, giving analysts more time to challenge assumptions, investigate risks and form their recommendation.”

The platform includes source traceability, allowing analysts to check financial figures and ratios against underlying borrower records. It also identifies missing disclosures or credit information through targeted questions.

Analysts can review, edit and refine the generated memo within the platform before exporting it in Word or PDF format for their institution’s existing approval process.

The company emphasised that analysts remain responsible for reviewing and validating each credit paper before submission.

Flow Credit Memo integrates with Crediflow AI’s existing FlowSpread and Flow Bank Statement products, connecting financial spreading, bank statement analysis and credit memo preparation within a single workflow.

The product is aimed at commercial banks, asset finance providers, structured finance lenders and private credit funds seeking to reduce administrative work during underwriting while retaining their existing credit policies and documentation requirements.

Flow Credit Memo is available immediately as part of Crediflow AI’s wider platform for automating commercial lending and credit risk assessment workflows.
