Compass Business Finance appoints Lorna Campbell as Head of Operations

Compass Business Finance has appointed Lorna Campbell as Head of Operations as the lender continues to expand its direct and broker-introduced business.

Campbell joins Compass with more than 35 years’ experience in the asset finance sector, spanning operational leadership, relationship management and asset-based lending.

She most recently spent more than two decades with Close Brothers, progressing to Operations Manager and Head of Customer Relationship Management.

During her career, Campbell has worked across the funding lifecycle, including proposal and payout, portfolio management and facility maturity. Her experience also includes leading operational teams, implementing policy improvements and supporting complex funding structures.

In her new role, Campbell will join Compass’ senior management team and help shape the company’s operational strategy as it continues to grow its funding activity.

A particular focus will be supporting Compass’ expanding broker network and developing its service and proposition for introducers.
