DLL explores financing role in cybersecurity growth

Share

DLL has released a new eBook exploring the role financing can play in helping technology solution providers meet growing demand for cybersecurity investment.

The eBook, Turning Security Demand into Opportunity: A Solution Provider’s Guide to Financing Cybersecurity, examines how financing can help businesses implement cybersecurity solutions while managing competing investment priorities.

According to the IDC Worldwide Security Spending Guide cited by DLL, global security spending is projected to reach $308 billion in 2026 and increase to $430 billion by 2029.

DLL said that while growing cybersecurity risks are driving demand for new technology, identifying the need for investment does not necessarily mean businesses have the capital available to implement solutions immediately.

Financing can provide technology providers with an alternative way to structure customer investments, helping organisations spread costs while continuing to invest in other areas of their operations.

Matthew Keown, Director of New Business Development (Americas) at DLL and a contributor to the eBook, said:

“Cybersecurity spending continues to grow, but demand alone doesn’t guarantee implementation. For solution providers, financing represents an opportunity to help customers move from identifying cybersecurity needs to implementing the solutions designed to address them.”

The eBook examines practical ways technology providers can incorporate financing into conversations with customers, alongside some of the funding challenges encountered when implementing cybersecurity solutions.

It also considers how financing can help organisations balance investment in security with spending on wider innovation, rather than requiring the two priorities to compete for available capital.

The new publication forms part of DLL’s focus on financing technology investment and is available to download from the company’s website.
