Resilient appoints Paul van der Spuy as Talent Acquisition Manager

Resilient Management Solutions has appointed Paul van der Spuy as Talent Acquisition Manager, bringing more than 25 years of talent acquisition, executive search and financial services experience to the business.

The specialist executive search and talent acquisition consultancy, which works across the asset, auto and equipment finance sectors, said the appointment will strengthen its sector expertise and support its continued growth.

Van der Spuy began his career in financial services, heading Management Learning & Development for risk, credit and business simulations at Standard Bank and its asset finance business, Stannic, during the 1990s.

He subsequently became Deputy Head of Group Learning & Development at Nedbank. His responsibilities included delivering training in asset-based finance and commercial credit, as well as developing bespoke credit workshops for captive finance businesses including BMW, Toyota and Volkswagen Finance.

Van der Spuy later spent two decades as Managing Director and joint owner of an executive search firm. More recently, he has led talent acquisition for high-growth organisations across banking, financial services, professional services and corporate sectors.

In his new role, he will lead Resilient Management Solutions’ talent acquisition activity and work alongside Managing Director Colin Tovey on business development.

He will work with lenders, lessors, captives and technology providers across the UK, Europe and US.
