Conference Sponsored by Conference Finance Connect UK Conference 2026: Save the date Published: 22nd September 2026 Share Finance Connect will bring together the UK’s asset finance, auto finance, equipment finance and receivables finance communities for the Finance Connect UK Conference 2026, taking place on Tuesday 24 November at Kings Place, London, with Odessa as Event Partner. The conference will provide dedicated community streams, bringing together lenders, brokers, technology providers, industry specialists and other market participants to examine the issues shaping their respective sectors and the opportunities for growth. Asset finance: where will growth come from? The Asset Finance Connect stream, with Alfa as Asset Finance community stream headline sponsor, will examine the outlook for a market that has performed better than expected during the first part of 2026, but faces a potentially more challenging environment as the year progresses. At the heart of the programme will be new Finance Connect research among asset finance leaders examining expectations for growth and, crucially, how lenders intend to achieve it. Sessions will explore the growing role of loans alongside traditional asset finance, conduct considerations, customer journeys and operational capability, as well as the changing importance of distribution channels. The programme will also consider embedded finance and the potential impact of AI-driven buying journeys, alongside the implications of regulatory and policy developments including Consumer Credit Act reform and risk-sharing initiatives. Participants will receive the full findings from the asset finance leaders’ survey ahead of the conference. Auto finance: looking beyond motor finance redress Motor finance commission disclosure and redress will inevitably be a major topic for the Auto Finance Connect community, with the industry continuing to navigate a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. The conference will feature an up-to-date “state of the nation redress” keynote and workshop with Wayne Gibbard of Shoosmiths, examining the latest position and what it means for the sector. But the programme will also look beyond redress to the longer-term challenges facing auto finance. Finance Connect will present its initial “Horizon scanning” work covering funding, regulation, the EV transition, technology and Consumer Duty, considering where each area is heading, the implications for lenders and how businesses can respond. Equipment finance: putting AI into practice The Equipment Finance Connect stream will move the AI conversation from theory towards practical application. Rather than debating AI in the abstract, sessions will examine real working examples of AI being used within equipment finance, including applications designed to reduce costs and generate additional income. The emphasis will be on tangible, understandable examples of how the technology is being deployed in the industry. The programme will also delve into specialist equipment finance markets including agriculture, medical and office equipment, examining the role and market share of captives and where opportunities remain for independent finance providers – whether working with captives or alongside them. Receivables finance: how do we grow the market? The Receivables Finance Connect Conference, with Dancerace as Receivables Finance community stream headline sponsor, will bring together the receivables finance and asset-based lending community around a central question: how do we grow the size of the market? The stream will combine exclusive, data-driven market insights with discussion of new developments and innovations across receivables finance and ABL. A new Growth Sprint will provide a focused forum for developing actionable ideas to expand the sector. Finance Connect’s four Receivables Finance Councils – Technology & Innovation, Intermediary, NextGen, and Communications & Engagement – will also report on their project workstreams and the progress being made to move the industry forward. The aim will be to build on work already underway while exploring ways to increase the industry’s reach, relevance and results. Save the date With four community streams under one roof, the Finance Connect UK Conference will provide an opportunity for participants from across specialist finance to engage with the issues most relevant to their markets, while also sharing ideas and perspectives across the wider industry. Further speakers, sessions and programme details will be announced in the run-up to the conference. Visit the Finance Connect UK Conference website for more information and to reserve your ticket.
