TLT appoints asset finance specialist Natalie Coates as Partner

UK law firm TLT has appointed asset finance and asset-based lending specialist Natalie Coates as a Partner in its Financial Services team.

Coates joins from Blake Morgan and brings more than 18 years of experience across private practice and industry, including more than seven years with the UK leasing arm of BNP Paribas and a secondment with Barclays.

She advises financial institutions, corporates and SMEs on financing and refinancing transactions, with expertise spanning receivables finance, operating and finance leases, loans and stocking facilities, as well as debt finance, restructuring and insolvency.

Coates will work across TLT’s national Financial Services practice, supporting lenders, funders, corporates and growing businesses in the asset finance and ABL markets. She will also lead the firm’s Asset Finance offering.

Her appointment is the latest investment by TLT in its Financial Services practice and is intended to complement the firm’s existing banking, financial services regulation, litigation and restructuring capabilities.

Coates becomes the fourth Financial Services-focused Partner to join TLT in the past 12 months, following the appointments of Orla Hanna, Ben Player and Jack Houselander.
