Stellantis has made two senior leadership appointments, naming Stephanie Hartgrove as Chief Communications Officer and Clara Ingen-Housz as Head of Public Policy & Regulatory Strategy, International Trade.

Both appointments are effective from September 1 and report directly to Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa.

Hartgrove joins the Stellantis Leadership Team and will lead the automotive group’s communications function.

She brings more than 20 years of global communications experience and joins from Johnson & Johnson, where she was Global Vice President of MedTech Communications and Public Affairs.

She has previously held senior communications roles at Baker Hughes and GE, having started her career as a journalist with CNN and Al Jazeera.

Ingen-Housz takes up a newly defined role responsible for designing and developing Stellantis’ public policy, regulatory and international trade strategy.

She will also support Filosa in institutional engagements and, as part of the General Counsel’s office, develop the group’s international trade law capability.

The appointment follows Ingen-Housz’s leadership of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Communications over the past 19 months.

Filosa said: “I am pleased to welcome Stephanie at an important time for Stellantis as we advance our FaSTLAne 2030 strategy. She brings deep international experience and a proven ability to strengthen reputation, build stakeholder trust and lead through change.”

He also thanked Ingen-Housz for her leadership over the past 19 months and for taking on her new responsibilities.

“Together, these appointments will help ensure Stellantis speaks with a clear external voice and engages effectively on the issues that matter to our stakeholders,” Filosa added.
