Our client is major European provider of lifecycle management and leasing  are looking for a ITAD Business Development to join a well-established and experienced team

ITAD & Services Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving commercial growth through the sourcing, sale and delivery of Data Centre IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services and equipment.

The role focuses on identifying, developing and converting data centre ITAD opportunities, including decommissioning projects, hardware refreshes and large scale infrastructure changes. It combines new business development, client relationship management, asset valuation and coordination with internal operations and external partners to ensure secure, compliant and commercially successful outcomes.

• Identify and secure servers, storage, networking equipment and data centre hardware from enterprises, hyperscalers and colocation providers.
• Develop and manage a robust pipeline of data centre ITAD sourcing opportunities, including refresh cycles and decommissioning projects.
• Actively grow new business while expanding opportunities within existing customer accounts.
• Provide quotations and commercial proposals for data centre equipment and ITAD services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise IT teams, data centre managers and procurement stakeholders.
• Understand customer challenges and position tailored ITAD and lifecycle solutions
• Act as a primary commercial contact for data centre ITAD customers throughout the sales lifecycle.
• Sell ITAD services including secure data destruction, asset tracking and reporting, refurbishment, resale and recycling.
• Coordinate with internal operations, logistics and remarketing teams to support data centre shutdowns, asset removal and secure handling.
• Ensure customer commitments are deliverable, compliant and aligned with operational capability.
• Assess market value of used data centre equipment including servers, switches and storage arrays.
• Negotiate purchase prices, resale structures and revenue share agreements with customers and partners.
• Support contract negotiations relating to ITAD services and asset recovery.
• Develop and manage relationships with logistics providers, recyclers, refurbishers and downstream resale partners.
• Monitor data centre market trends, cloud migrations and hyperscaler activity to identify new opportunities.
• Seek and manage reseller and partner relationships to maximise commercial outcomes.
• Champion the 3 Step IT Lifecycle Management model across customer engagements.
