People Sponsored by People The Leasing Foundation 30 Under 30 returns for sixth year Published: 15th June 2026 Share The Leasing Foundation has officially opened nominations for its 2026 30 Under 30 initiative, recognising the next generation of professionals helping to shape the future of the asset finance, leasing and SME lending sectors. Now in its sixth year, the programme continues to highlight young professionals who are already making a significant impact through leadership, innovation, collaboration and community engagement across the industry. Supported by Finance Connect and sponsored by Acquis, the initiative is open to UK-based professionals aged 29 and under working within asset finance, leasing, SME lending and related service providers. The annual 30 Under 30 list has become an important platform for recognising rising stars from across the sector, showcasing individuals who are not only excelling in their roles but also contributing to the wider development of the industry. Nominations are open to individuals who will be aged 29 or younger on 30 September 2026 and are currently working within the UK asset finance and leasing sectors. Candidates may nominate themselves or be nominated by colleagues, managers or peers. Judges will be looking for candidates who can demonstrate impact in at least two key areas, including outstanding contribution within their role, supporting or mentoring colleagues, driving positive change within their organisation, championing diversity, equity and inclusion, raising the profile of the asset finance sector, or making a difference through community, charity or voluntary involvement. Entries should be no longer than two pages and must be submitted alongside a headshot, company name and LinkedIn profile link to hello@leasingfoundation.org by Friday 11 September 2026. The final 30 Under 30 list will be announced later this year following assessment by an independent judging panel. Commenting on the launch, Alex McWilliams, co-Lead of the Leasing Foundation NextGen Network, said: “Every year this initiative serves as a reminder of just how much talent exists within the industry. Anyone named in the 30 Under 30 Index has already made an impact on culture, supported their peers, helped improve the businesses they work in and contributed to the development of the sector. “We’re here to celebrate those individuals who make a difference in their own way. If anyone knows of a colleague worthy of nomination, please do submit their details.” The initiative forms part of the Leasing Foundation’s wider commitment to supporting talent development and encouraging greater engagement from the next generation of professionals entering the asset finance industry. With nominations now open, firms across the sector are being encouraged to recognise the achievements of their emerging talent and help showcase the future leaders of the industry.
