Senior Credit Analyst – Mid Ticket Asset Finance – Home based – 2879

Salary range preferred to £60,000 but possibly more if needed to secure the best, plus benefits.

Our client one of the UK’s largest and fastest growing asset financiers who go to market a variety of ways including brokers, direct and via vendors are seeking to hire an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join their asset finance underwriting team.

You will focus on asset finance transactions typically up to £750,000 in size across a wide range of covenants and across both hard and soft assets. Once integrated you will be expected to be given a personal credit authority of at least £250,000.

Our client has a home based model but you will be expected to attend their head office for typically up to 2 days in every month.

A detailed job description is available to share with suitably qualified but if you are an experienced asset finance underwriter you will already be very familiar with the role.

Candidate Profile

To apply you should be an experienced asset finance underwriter who today holds a credit authority of ideally £250,000.

Those who have experience of both hard & soft assets and across a wide range of covenants are likely to be our clients ideal profile.

In addition to the above you will have:

• Effective time-management abilities – ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Be a Strong communicator / relationship builder
• Have a strong attention to detail and be accountable – demonstrates strong deal ownership
• Be a team player with self-motivation, a “can do”, attitude and drive to succeed
• Have the ability to work with all levels of staff
• Possess a high level of personal and professional integrity
• The ability to write structured credit proposals in line with agreed timescales
• Previous credit risk experience at a financial services provider (not necessarily in an asset finance environment but this experience would be the ideal
• Possess a good knowledge of finance and finance products
